1. The company's history

• In the past " Kampoeng Batik Laweyan" wa famous of its batik, and when it reached its glory there were a lot of rich batik businessmen there. Then of the bunissmen there, named K.H. Samanhudi established " Sarekat Dagang Islam (SDI)" in oredr to built up and also improve the nationalism and the batik business there. Since batik is one of the valuable heritage and culture in Indonesia. Moreever, at that time Indonesian people was cocolized by other country and the Indonesia people themselves didn't aware of the importance being united. Therefor, because of his heroic did in uniting the batik businessmen, K.H. Samanhudi was declared by the Indonesia Government as an hero.
• On 25 September 2004, as the memorable glory of its Batik and its history, the Indonesia Government officially declared the existence of " Kampoeng Batik Laweyan" in Solo
• "Nugraha Laweyan Solo" House of Batik, was established in 2005. The founders are ispired by the entrepreneur spirit owned by their anchestors. And they also inspired to inherit the valuable heritage and tradition in Solo
